Con slancio

DEFINITION

The Italian word slancio means "enthusiasm" and the word con means "with" giving us "with enthusiasm". But this can also translate to "dash", "leap", "burst", "upsurge", "rush", "fit", "dart", "bounce", "abandonment", and "abandon", obviously directing the musician to play in this manner. Con Slancio is apparently also the name of a book marching band scores.<br>
