Directional pattern

1) In microphones, a term meaning the same thing as the term Pick Up Pattern (a description or graphic display of the level that a microphone puts out because of sounds arriving from different directions). 2) In speakers, the pattern of dispersion (the area that the sound from a speaker will evenly cover in a listening area).
