E-flat alto saxhorn

A family of valved brass instruments invented by Adolphe Sax in about 1845. The instruments ranged from contrabass to sopranino and were widely used by concert and military bands in Europe and the United States during the last half of the 19th century. The modern Baritone Horn is a direct descendent of the Saxhorn.See also Saxhorn.
