Messe de notre dame

(Mass of Our Lady) Machaut's work of that name from the fourteenth century is the earliest known setting of the complete mass ordinary (Kyrie, Gloria, Credo, Sanctus, Agnus dei, and in this case also the Ite missa est) by a single composer. It uses isorhythm in the shorter movements.
