Roll rudiments

DEFINITION

A group of fifteen drum rudiments that are based on the roll (the method of sustaining sound on a percussion instrument). This group is broken into three distinct types of roll, the single stroke rudiments, the multiple bounce rudiments and the double stroke open roll rudiments.
