Rudimental roll

A variation of the multiple bounce roll that consists of two bounces from each stroke. Since it only has two bounces per stroke, it is also considered to be an open roll.The symbol " Z" shown on the stem or over the note on the designates the rudimental roll.See also roll; multiple bounce roll; open roll.
