Steel band

A performing ensemble of trained musicians who perform upon primitive percussion instruments made of pans and oildrums ( steel drums). The steel band was developed in Trinidad in the 1930's.a band, originally from the west Indies, that plays pans-drums made from the hammered-out tops of oil drums
